PR O J E C T S - C 4 E E
Coaching for Employment and Entrepreneurship (C4EE).
It is a project financed by Giz and it is based on a coaching cycle methodology adapted by the Swisscontact Organization. The aim of the project is to ensure the insertion of young unemployed job seekers and returned emigrants in the labor market in the Kavaja area, a small town in the west of the country. Kavaja is affected by the earthquake and COVID-19 in a visible way.
IMPACT
60 participants,162 groups and individual coaching trainings, 16 participants have benefited professional training courses in different professions. 28 participants have been supported with sanitary material and daily facilities in their work in Pandemic situation. 9 participants have been supported with equipment based on individual business plans developed during the coaching cycle 3 communities organized activities have been held in in Kavaja. 32 returned emigrants have benefited from the coaching cycle for employment
P R O J E C T S - A T H O M E B U T N O T A L O N E
The project's aim was to offer care to the most exposed category of people with chronic disease and particular needs in order to educate and raise awareness regarding health and safety measures of the Covid-19 pandemic in the rural areas of Kavaja.
Poster flyers were distributed by volunteers to citizens during the awareness campaign. Precautionary equipment for safety and hygiene were distributed to the target group and their families (mostly masks and gloves). 40 people benefited online medical advice for Covid- 19. 730 people have benefited sanitary material. 20 volunteers have been involved in the project.
P R O J E C T S - B A K E R Y
Prior Learning Recognition is a complementing part of the activities that Albcontact is offering recently as part of diversified portfolio in the Bakery& Patisserie profession. Returned emigrants, who learned a profession working abroad, have a big need to certify their skills and knowledge in order to be licensed and open their own business.
IMPACT
15 PLR test for certification have been organized for 2019 -2020. We have approached the community of bakeries and restaurants in Albania doing this. 70 business men and women in bakery are evaluated by the bakery commission and in the end certified as professional baker and helpers.
PR O J E C T S - M E D IA T IO N F O R E M P L O Y M E N T
Albcontact is further developing the mediation for employment project in the area of Tirana & Durres. In this aspect we have developed and consolidated a coaching system and methodology inside the organization. The pandemic and earthquake situation have created a gap in the normal running of the mediation for employment activity due to the difficulties of the business to be developed.
The website is an interactive platform directly in the service for both job seekers and businesses. We already have a database with vacancies and potential job positions in various sectors. Albcontact is present on social media through the “Kerkoj Pune” Facebook page dedicated uniquely to employment.
